Les Équipements R. Marsan, founded in 1970 by Mr. Réginald Marsan, has a rich history rooted in the agricultural world. Before venturing into the sale of agricultural machinery, Mr. Marsan himself was a dairy farmer. As the heir to the family farm, he decided to diversify activities by addressing a crucial need in the Lanaudière region. Thus began the adventure of Les Équipements R. Marsan, with the sale of seeds and hay machinery, initially focusing on New-Holland hay machinery.
Thanks to impeccable service, the company’s popularity quickly soared, forcing Mr. Marsan to leave the farm to focus entirely on the sale of machinery. In the 1980s, with the growth of the business and the involvement of his sons, the Case IH tractor agency was added to their offering.
The company continued to thrive, and in 2003, the three sons seized the opportunity to acquire a second branch in Lachute in the Laurentians. Successfully managing both branches for several years, they eventually centralized operations in Saint-Esprit in 2015 to better meet the specialized needs of their growing clientele.

In 2021, the company became the dealer for the Case IH brand and expanded its offering by introducing the range of telescopic loaders from the German brand Weidemann. Since March 2023, Les Équipements R. Marsan also offer the entire range of Kuhn products, reinforcing their commitment to quality and diversity.
Today, led by the Marsan brothers, Michel, Sylvain, and Martin, this family-owned business proudly evolves through three generations.
